Thinking of my Dad...

Today marks six year anniversary of my Dad's passing, he (Jim Smith) had to have his leg amputated five weeks earlier on 3/18/04 due to diabetes... Dad had broken his foot prior to the amputation and the velcro cast caused a sore that would not heal and kept getting worse, he passed away on April 23, 2004 from complications (infection) of the amputation causing his cardiac arrest.

RIP Zachary Kitty :(

So very sad to say, our beloved Zachary Kitty passed away last night... she was 18 years old.

Falls Park Is Nat'l. Competition Finalist - Greenville News Story - WYFF Greenville

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Greenville’s Falls Park has garnered national attention -- and it could win a national prize.

The park is one of six nationwide selected as a finalist in the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Open Space Award.

Joe Bonamassa and Kevin Shirley have a good thing going. Each year they get together for a few weeks and record a new album. I don’t know how they do it, but they’ve got the process down to a science. Which is not to say that the records sound rushed.
